Welcome to Backline Studios
Backline consists of two large railway archways of a road bridge in central Guildford close to the mainline station. One arch is a dedicated rehearsal venue, able to cater for any groups, large or small. The other is currently undergoing comprehensive refurbishment creating a bespoke new venue for live music. You create the noise, we provide the venue.
Equipment available for you
Backline offer a range of equipment available to hire for your rehearsal session. We stock a range of kits, amps and mics, and pride ourselves on being able to cater for whatever style your group has adopted, from Metal to Blues. Just turn up, plug in, and play.
We can also provide storage for your bands equipment for a small charge every month. contact us for more details.

We are currently not booking rehearsal rooms for the 2 weeks due to a refurbishment.
At Backline we understand that occasionally, a shorter practice time may be required. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss a more suitable session length.
Terms and conditions: All bookings are subject to a 48 hour cancellation notice period. The basic room price will be chargable for any bookings not attended or cancelled within the 48 hour period before your session. 
The best thing about Backline is that its not intimidating. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are always professional.
